We put on some of that spray stuff James had when we hit Interior... damn that burned!!! I don't like riding with the windshield either, but on those long ass hauls, you get a bit tired of getting your ass kicked on the highway. Surprisingly, the bugs just weren't an issue when we were in the hills... weird. Thus, I would just take it off when in the hills, and use it when I'm riding in between here and there. I went down to the shop today and inquired about seats, and it looks pretty bleak. They only have two in stock, and they aren't willing to order something just for me to try out. I don't blame 'em... that could get pretty expensive on their end. So I either have to hit the Moto Plex in Sioux Falls, or go to that custom upholstery guy. He built my backrest from scratch, and only charged me $35... so I just might go to him. During the ride back, my left (and only) mirror started fucking up, just like the right one did... pissed me off. So while I was down at the shop, I ordered a pair of <a href="http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=2615" rel="nofollow">Kuryakyn Mirrors</a>. I hope they turn out better than the last ones I had. Hell yeah it was awesome!
